Did you watch American Idol this evening? Oh boy, my favorite Danny Boy did not make it to the finals. I was very disappointed, I really thought and expected that Kris was the one leaving instead. I like Danny more than the other two who are competing next week for American Idol. I like his deep, raspy voice and his style of singing. He is not so much of a rock singer but a balladeer. His voice reminded me of James Ingram who’s one of my favorite singers since I was a teen-ager. I have a collection of his songs.
One of Danny’s songs was “Endless Love,” such an unforgettable rendition, it was true to the heart. I have actually downloaded the song from iTunes and I’ve been listening to it since then. Well, Danny, this is just the beginning of a very promising career, definitely not the end. Danny has a far more brilliant calling and it is not American Idol, but to become a Christian singer, as the likes of Michael Smith or Steven Curtis Chapman. I wish you the best of everything, Danny.
